We just got home from at charity event at Juli's school, the charity was for Riley's hospital for Children here in Indianapolis. The purpose was of course to collect monetary support the hospital, as well as show our support by standing[1] on their feet for 3 hours ( this is on elementary school level), no sitting or lying, but dancing, playing or just standing for 3 hours[2]. We had a fun time and the school even got some money collected. May post a couple of pictures here when I get the chance to sort through and look at them all, but for now... here is Juli running and competing in a game.
1 This is apparently a common way of showing support since a lot of the children there are too sick to be standing, so in support we are standing for them.
2 On university level they apparently are standing for 36 hours straight th show their support.
